For those who want to enjoy the landscape in peace and quiet, there are numerous signposted cycling routes, varying in distance and difficulty. Think of quiet country roads through small hamlets, along meadows with Limousin cows, and shady forest paths. Many routes start near Evaux-les-Bains or Chambon-sur-Voueize and are also ideal for advanced cyclists as well as families with children.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Cyclists can indulge themselves in the Creuse. The hills are challenging but never overly steep, and the road network is excellently maintained and often surprisingly quiet. Climbs around Evaux les Bains and Aubusson offer beautiful views and a sporting challenge. The region is popular with both local and international cyclists and is regularly part of major tours such as the Tour du Limousin. An added bonus: the temperature often remains pleasant, even in summer.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\tMountain biking (VTT)\t\t\t<\/h1>\n\t\t\t

For those who like rougher trails, there are numerous marked VTT routes (V\u00e9lo Tout Terrain). The Creuse offers a varied terrain from steep forest slopes to technical single tracks along streams and rock formations. At the Base VTT network of Gu\u00e9ret and Ahun, among others, you can find routes in various levels of difficulty, from beginners to advanced. In the forests of Chabri\u00e8res you will even find a specially created MTB park with descents and courses for adrenaline seekers. There are also accessible trails available for children.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\tBike rental\t\t\t<\/h1>\n\t\t\t

There are no possibilities to rent bikes in our immediate vicinity. So either bring your own bike or the first option is at Creuse Oxyg\u00e8ne in Gu\u00e9ret (45 min).
